Fortune Telling, Astrology and Christianity's acceptance of it

First - I'll list Christians most popular bible scriptures they use for stating the use of magic being against God.

  Deuteronomy 18:10-12
10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD , and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
  Defination of Divination
    div·i·na·tion   <n.>
The art or act of foretelling future events or revealing occult knowledge by means of augury or an alleged supernatural agency.
An inspired guess or presentiment.
Something that has been divined.

Clearly the act of fortune telling or predicting future events is against god.  Well,  I have a question, how many Christians; that preach against games like Magic: The Gathering or Dungeons and Dragons, preach against meteorologists or weather forecasters?  I have never heard of such a thing, as a matter of fact, almost all Christians watch the news, the weather channel, or use the internet, to find out predicted future events to plan out their vacations, church picnics, or what have you.  I'm sure many Christians, are themselves, members of these modern day fortune tellers.  They in fact - support such actions, that they profess is wrong to god.  Granted, these fortune tellers can't predict person’s futures, but they do watch the heavens and predict future weather temperatures and storms, as well as many other various predictions, and instead of using a crystal ball they use computers.
