Lets take a look at golems.  Well golems are not mentioned as far as I know in the bible.

In role-playing games and by definition, Golems are associated with magic, mages, or witchcraft.  A golem, can basically be made from almost anything, its given life, and does tasks at the bidding of its master.

Like in the definition, robots, automobiles, planes, and many other devices we use on a daily basis, are steel or fiberglass golems, created and given life, sometimes with the use of computers installed within the devices.  They feed off inedible things to stay alive and able to serve; gasoline or oil, for example.  These golems are generally not very intelligent, and usually need constant attention from a controller in order to do the task it was designed for.
Schools teach people how to; make these golems, control these creatures, care and tend to these beasts of burden.  Do Christians protest against such atrocities?  No, they themselves get involved in such inhumane acts of creating these abominations to god, tend to them, and teach their children the rituals and techniques used; they own these constructed slaves, and some don't even care for them, run the golem into the ground so to speak, then send it to a specially designed graveyard for golems (i.e. junkyard) and get new ones.

Well, I don't think artificial life is god's will, but the majority of all Christian families own at least one of these creatures.  Through the use of modern magic (science), soon these golems, with very little actions of their masters, will be able do their tasks almost at their own will, for starters; autopilot, cruise control, and global positioning systems.
