The world today, has shaped and molded our minds, giving us understandings of how some magic works. It has given
us tools to perform these magics and the knowledge and ability to eventually perform even greater feats of magic. Computers(internet):
A major magic componet that grants the user the ability to increase their minds, see images far away, communicate long distances
instantly in way that hundreds of years ago would of been "unnatural" or "unholy" Telephones, Cellphones, Television,
Radio all come similar to that of the computer. Another Magic spell component which is used in many churches/covenants
is the microphone and speaker. These grant the user the ability to enhance and project their voice
so that all around can hear them. Recording devices that capture a voice, image or sound that can be replayed at anytime,
like taperecorders, video camera's, Cds.. all magical tools, that we all for the most part now understand and how they work.
But would of been considered wrong, magics from the devil hundreds of years ago. Even the ability to light the flamesless
candles(light bulbs), some of which you can do with a clap of you hand. and the uses of the different forms of magic wands
like the flameless torch(flashlight), some small wands(remote control) that can open doors, set magic sound alarms, like in
cars or house, or control other magic items like tvs. Some wands are even used for harm, like the gun with the use of
Alchemy powders, or the stun gun, which has the power of lightning contained with in it.

I guess in Christian view, magic of today, through use of "technology" is ok. Because we in general understand
how it actually works, and it can be explained scientifically. So I guess if someone eventually can explain scientifically
how people can communicate with the dead, shoot fire from their finger tips, move something with their minds, actually summon
a monster or demon. Then its ok. Because it would actually make sense, and it wouldn't be magic anymore, but science.
This is my belief on magic and what it is..... Magic is a science not yet explained. I'm waiting for the day, when science
figures out how the waves emitted from the vocal cords when certain words are said in conjuction with hand movements or objects
actually will cause some effect to happen.
Imagination, and pretend. In the views of christians is wrong, which is evident in the frequent bash on
the sci fi, fantasy games, tv shows and movies. like dungeons and dragons, magic: the gathering, Xena, Star Trek, Star Wars
etc.. For instance playing magic the gathering, christians say its a occult tool and practice for actually magic,
when playing the game, people are turning cards, laying cards down. Nothing is actually created, everything is the same
when its done as before it started, oh wait no, the deck of cards is in a different order. Same thing happens when playing
solitair with a deck of cards from Hoyle. But back to imagination and pretend, actors on tv and movies, pretending to
be something that they are not, that is wrong and its against god. The movie Ten commandments, how dare that guy pretend
to be moses, and through the use of theater mages, use their movie magic to make people see a pillar of fire, or the red sea
part. Yes it was an educational movie, or insight into the bible. But the fact remains they performed their magic,
and the actors pretended to be more then they were. I hope they repented afterwords and never acted or helped in another
movie afterwards. Or parents putting children in plays at school or church. How dare they subject their kids having
them act/pretend that they are more than they are, pretending they are Jesus, or someone else.
Christians don't realize that thanks to Sci fi, fantasy, that all the modern magics that they revel was made possible.
Christians use these devices, to protest against the thing that made it possible. They use these devices to spread the
word of God. To do Good deeds.
Well Christians will claim that all forms of magic is against god. Black, white magic, doesn't matter its still
wrong. Even if the intent is good. By using devices created from what they say is wrong, they condemn themselves.
Despite the intent. The ends don't justify the means.
Science fiction, according to the religious people that condemn fantasy/sci fi, is geared to leading people to
believe in aliens. Aliens of which, are depicted as being more powerful, more advanced and smarter than humans.
Their power is almost always occult based and sometimes they are considered gods. Ok. so believing in alien
creatures and the such, must also go against god, because that what they are said they can do is wrong. So I guess that
is a sin. Well we are more advanced, more powerful, smarter than we were a thousand years ago. A thousand years
ago, with the "technology" we have now, we could be considered gods to the people of that time period. The things we
can do now would be considered a sin/against god back then, so it still would be a sin now. as a matter of fact, it
was I believe the dark ages that stunted are technological growth, scientists of the time period were considered herectics,
witches and the like. They said it was a sin at that time. So it must be the same now.
