When it comes to the bible, christians fail to realize that the bible, even though its to be as gods words, was
written by man. Man who do make mistakes, errors and what not. God himself did not personally write the bible.
Also that the different versions of the bible sometimes say almost completely different things.
The bible when translated from the original language<s> is never translated exact word for word, it is geared
more towards the beliefs of the translator and how they interpret how the words originally written is suppose to mean.
This is quite evident, when comparing bibles of the different christian denominations and the non-denominational churches.
One of the biggest complete changes that I've seen that I can state at this moment, is in relation to a particular
pastor that has a major protest against sci fi and fantasy games and shows. When he talks about aliens and the such.
Quoting this pastor saying "This is a problem because it subtly undermines the Bible's teaching that man is God's unique,
special creation whom He loves (John 3:16)." I used an online bible and searched for that passage and the site showed
me for John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[1] that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life" I don't know what bible that pastor uses, but I do not see anything coming close to saying
that man is god's unigue, special creation from the passage. Obviously he is using a bible that differs from the online
version. clearly the bible has errors, made by man, that one practically would have to read each and every different
translated bible, and then hope they pick the right passages from each one. Or they can get original language versions
and translate themselves. With so many different translations, how is one to know which is the absolute right version,
without translating themselves? And also how do they know it is the right religion in the first place. How do
we know in absolute fact that Muslim, Buddhist, Christianity etc.. all didn't originate from same events, all from one area?
But only through the years have changed as the words get translated differently and how stories change little by little when
passed on through generations. The changing of a story, what someone says and how it changes, has been tested and proved.
Get a group of people, say like 20, form a circle, one starts by wispering a small story of what they did earlier that
day to a person next to him/her. Then that person repeats that story to the next person, and so on, by the time it reaches
the originator the story is changed, sometimes almost completely. Now imagine this happening over hundreds and thousands
of years. How much the original story can change during that time. One cannot take the bible exact word for word,
but more of use it as a guideline, since so much is different as stated previously a person would never know if what they
read is what originally was meant.

In the medieval times, the leaders of the church were infact the rulers of the land. There may have been
an actually king, but the true power were the priests of the church. We do know that sometimes, rulers would change
written history to better suit their needs and wants. How do we know, that some priests didn't do the same with the
bible, when certain passages contradicted what the priests were telling people? That they didn't change any scriptures
to better keep a hold on the people of the land? No one can say that there is no possibility that the scriptures could
have been changed by some priests. We know even in our times, that priests sometimes do immoral and wrong things.
Most of us have heard about a few priests molesting altar boys and the such. One cannot say that the immoral things
only has happened in recent times. It could easily have happened in the past, and combined with the potential lust for
power, who is to say how some priests of the past may have manipulated scriptures of the bible to their own end.
